I remember being given sweet corn, right off the cob, at a city festival.

There was a plant, millions of years before humans were created, that had white and pink berries the size of your hand. The taste of it was indescribable; I could say it's like melon and banana and raspberry jam, but it wasn't. Not really.
I used to sit under the leaves and watch the fruit grow. But I wonder now what it would have been like to truly taste one.
