Then, purple- only purple. White. Break's coat, the beautiful off-the-shoulder, white one that he lost almost a year ago during that episode with all of the blood. It's back in one piece.]

[Then the feed flicks off. On again, very briefly, as he bangs it on the table. Sound.

Then to video- there's Break's elbow, Emily's dress.

On. Rap rap rap. Someone's knocking it against a table to see if it can be broken open.]

[This is almost exactly how he arrived, nearly two years ago to the day. And here we are, come full circle, about to smash the PCD on a table corner in idle, non-technologically oriented curiosity.]

The clinic is an important place - if you need healing or medical care that's where anyone goes.

What does it cost?

Not swearing in Miss Unohana's clinic. [He'd only done it once out of pain. Buttt never again.] And no trying to kill anyone else in the clinic.

Do-gooders?

Soldiers in a way. It was her job back home, I think. Thus it carries over here.

Never trust a soldier, least of all a medic during a time of war.

Mister Break, I'm a soldier too just of a different sort. We're not all bad.

[Allen falls silent. From his experience those in authority have been terrible not the soldiers themselves. At least as a warrior on the field, you're realistic and not...what the Vatican is.]

Someone who has been fighting for too long would do anything for a tactical advantage to make it stop.

I don't do it like that. I never can forget they're people, on both sides of a war. I'll do what it takes, but I won't cause unnecessary suffering.

[Allen's tone is flat, not dismissive but a lot like a gavel's final slam against the judge's desk. He won't become like the Vatican.]

[It is terrible the first thought he has is not to worry about it. Because he's not sure he'll live that long.] Anyways, the clinic rarely turns anyone away. Even if Miss Unohana can be...scary.
