A God of Death, Reaper of Souls. In my world we come to personally collect the souls of those about to die, view their entire life to pass judgement upon where they go. We do so to keep any hungry demons, such as that butler I live with, from snatching them up for a meal. There's also investigation if, at the end of the work day, not all souls are accounted for or too many deaths have occured than scheduled for the day. [It sounds a tad boring. So uniform, but explination is needed. Not all worlds work alike after all.]
I don't work as one anymore. I can no longer read the books that tell how and when someone will die, I can only view their cinimatic records.
