[Like so many others will this week, Break wakes up screaming. The PCD isn't pointed at the bed, so it doesn't capture anything but sound until he scrambles off of it, past the camera and towards the window, throwing it open to get fresh air.

This all hits a little close to home.]

Why-

[He asks, hoarsely, a few minutes later,]

-does the network insist on displaying our grief? The timing is too consistent to be accidental.

[He watches Break, smiling rather smugly as he thinks of all the little lies Break is likely to tell him. He likes to predict which one it will be, because he's so often wrong. It's like a constantly shifting puzzle.]

[He scoffs, and Break's tea inexplicably splashes up and onto his shirt.]

I spoke to Katara at that dance. Has she forgiven you for all this, or does she think you don't remember me?
