There were a few people I was supposed to get in touch with. And a few people I haven't been in touch with for too long!

For the rest of you, I have advice to ask. It's probably for those of you that have been here a little longer than I have. What advice do you give new arrivals? In terms of advice for finding shelter, and getting food and clean water. When I arrived it was the clinic, but there must be other communal places. Buildings that remain reliably steady over time.

There is nothing wrong with an exchange of ideas, and I'm certainly not in need of any hand holding. I'm settled down comfortably; I want to know what people think in terms of good advice to give to new arrivals.

I'm also astonished that you felt it appropriate to come over into a dying man's journal and lecture him on his willingness to go outside in winter. I'd be blind in this weather, and coughing up blood for a week afterwards.
